Mark 13:1-37

Theme: Jesus presents the signs notifying the destruction of: the physical temple, the world at the end of time, and his own body as the new spiritual temple. He warns those listening to stay awake and keep careful guard.

Aim: Do not be deceived or surprised by the coming (and current!) false prophets and signs, nor afraid because of persecution or days of distress. Rather trust and rest in the eternal sovereignty of God, keeping watch for his return in power and glory.
